The frost–defrost cycle chambers are designed to perform frost resistance tests, simulating automated freeze-thaw cycles according to international standards.
Its temperature range is -30°C and can go up to +50°C and it has two possible volumes 325 and 525 litres. They are mainly used in the construction sector, such as tile, slate, marble, brick, etc. manufacturers.

Exterior: It is made of white lacquered aluminium sheet.
- Furniture base: 4 height adjustable support legs in the chamber and tank with 6.
- Top cover: Automated door opening and closing system through two pneumatically operated cylinders, with an 85º opening angle. Double weatherstrip with flexible silicone gasket.
Interior: It is made of AISI-304 stainless steel sheet.
- Sample holder: Specimen holder element for positioning 12 specimens, 50 mm apart.
Insulation: Through semi-rigid rock wool panels in accordance with EN 12667. Coefficient of thermal conductivity: 0.017 Kcal/m² h °C
- Thermal tank: A thermal tank is installed, inside which are installed the condensing unit, plate heat exchanger, recirculation pump, electrical control and power cabinet, water tank, cooling unit, heating system, etc.
