Kesternich chamber

Kesternich corrosion chambers, CHKEST model, simulate a saturated humidity atmosphere and a constant temperature combined with sulphur dioxide gas (SO²) to produce an acid rain effect and to perform corrosive sulphuric atmosphere tests.

The standard temperature range is +5 °C and can be up to +70 °C, the volume of the equipment can be 300 and 1000 litres, for other sizes please consult us. The Kesternich corrosion chamber is mainly used for improvement studies in the prevention of corrosion in the automotive and building materials sectors.

  • Access door: Flexible double silicone gasket, size according to chamber volume.
  • Sight glass:  A window is located in the door to view the interior of the chamber
  • Mobility: The machine has 4 height adjustable legs
  • Dosing device: The SO2 gas dosing device, made of transparent methacrylate with metric graduation, is located on the outside of the chamber.
