IPX drip test equipment

The IPX5-6 water tightness testing equipment performs tests to check the degree of protection against rain on a sample. Normally weathertight parts that will remain in the open air, according to the requirements of the IEC 60529 standard.

Raintight drip systems are mainly used in electronics, construction, military, lighting, automotive and other sectors.

The equipment includes the following elements:

  • Reinforced structure made of steel frame sections and covered externally with white lacquered aluminium plates.
  • It has several compartments for the installation of the subsystems that make up the equipment, optimising space for easy access for use and maintenance tasks. This structure also includes the electrical cabinet and the control screen.
  • A turntable to ensure that tests are carried out correctly all around the outside of the sample.
  • Sprinkler system with a telescopic tripod, hose, water stopcock and manometer for flow control.
  • 1 nozzle IPX5 and 1 nozzle IPX6, interchangeable
