Draperies equipment (EN 13772)

The curtain equipment, according to the UNE EN 13772 standard, is used to measure flame propagation exposure to an ignition source. The possible flame propagation through wire breakage is measured.

The test consists of applying a heat flux of defined energy to a specified area on the underside of the reverse side of the vertical specimen. After 30 seconds the small flame is applied for 10 seconds to a small piece of cotton tissue fixed around the lower hole of the test tube.
